Shooting and discoverying the culture of traditional groups of the Amazon!! 🎥🇧🇷 In the photo, I was interviewing a Palmari woman to find out more about the technique developed by The Paumari's on the management of Pirarucu, a fish very well known in the region. The Paumari were known as the "nomads of the Purus,"(a river of the Amazon) due to the impressive mobility of their local groups and their traditional dwellings, built on rafts, called "floating". Paumari fishermen are one of the few indigenous peoples of the middle Purus river who survived without armed clashes in the two rubber cycles that wiped out other peoples of the region in the mid-19th century.
