Go outside and get more active in your community.
People in Ukraine are risking their lives for freedom. People in this country who claim to be for democracy need to understand that their rights are not handed to them on a platinum platter. We need to work and sometimes fight to sustain those rights.
The simplest and easiest things to do right now are to get off of broligarch social media and to pause Amazon Prime indefinitely. Saying that you don't look at the ads or don't click the ads on Meta or Twitter/X misses the point. They make money just by you being there. You make Zuck and Musk richer (and more able to back Trump) just by using those platforms. By posting that vacation selfie on Instagram you chip away at our freedoms. Find untainted platforms which do not undermine democracy.
