Over the weekend I had the honor of being at the very first Trunk Show hosted by Pavo Textiles. If you are scratching your head wondering “what the heck is a trunk show”; you’ve come to the right place.
A trunk show is an event in which vendors present merchandise directly to customers at a retail location or another venue such as a hotel room.
The very first event was held in San Antonio, Texas and was hosted among an intimate group of Pavotees. They were people who had both bought “all the Pavos” and those that had yet to take the plunge, but had lovingly followed along waiting for their perfect first Pavo. Attendees had a chance to sip Champagne, mingle with the owners and be the first to purchase several wrap options from the Pavo Form and the Pavo Guild lines. After the soft opening, we then moved on to Austin and a larger show with many more Pavotees in attendance. The next trunk show is planned for November in Seattle. I hope to see you there!
