Avery simply couldn't help himself when he saw Zion wandering off to the river to bathe, the younger wold unfortunately had made it a habit of his to surprise the other while he was in the water washing off. After the first time he had accidentally stumbled upon the other man singing in the river, he couldn't help but follow when knew he'd catch Zion bathing.

Climbing up in the tree that had branches that hung lowest to the water, he slowly crawled up into the branches, moving down to the lowest one and hooking his knees on it. swinging back and down. "SURPRISE!" he shouted hanging upside down staring at Zion with those big blue eyes, his smile wide. "You're looking as good as every Z."

With the funeral pyre all but extinguished, only a few ashes still burning and the smoke beginning to thin out as it rose to the sky, Makani couldn't help but think... what exactly happened? Who would set fire to crucial buildings to their survival? Who would want to see the village tear itself into pieces with the accusations that came? So many questions filled his mind, but so did so much grief. Not just for himself, but for the village - for the mate of Cassius, for the Scala family, and for Venois as a whole.

Lost in his thoughts, he hadn't noticed anyone walking close until the familiar scent hit his nose and he breathed a sigh of relief. "Please tell me no harm came to you, Zion," Makani spoke, hanging his head as he tried to keep the worry from washing over him. Not because Zion was an Omega, but because he knew the truth - the truth that he could smell. "I don't know if I could bear any more bad news tonight."

Usually, Burcu would prefer to push through his heat in privacy. Physically, it’s when he felt the most vulnerable. His sweet scent would fill the air and even the whiff of an alpha would have his knees buckling. It was like every nerve ending in his body was constantly being electrified, settling Burcu with an ache that betrayed how closed off he preferred to be when it came to most alphas. Unfortunately, there was too much to do around the nursery for him to take a day off. You need all the serenity you can get,” he says, but this time letting his hands run down Zion’s chest and back up, wanting to relieve any aches that may plague him. He also finds himself shimmying his hips closer to the other, his spread legs providing a delta for Zion to find comfort in though Burcu really enjoys the friction that position provides.

Demi rarely started small talk with anybody if he could avoid the interaction. Polite conversation just never appeared to him. Sure, it may have been the reason why he didn't have many close friends, but that was a predicament for Demi and Demi alone to figure out for himself. Maybe someday it would happen... but probably not.

Zion, though, was one of the only people he actually had something of a rapport with. Having worked as guards more or less as long as one another, he knew the other man as well as anyone as self-contained and aloof as Demi possibly could. So when Zion showed up for patrol earlier, something clearly being different about him than the last time they shared a shift, Demi couldn't help but try to figure it out. As an alpha, he could just tell certain things... and it was his expert opinion that Zion was now pregnant.

"Congratulations, by the way," Demi says curtly, his tone barely signaling that he was saying anything to Zion. "On the pup, I mean. You're... I can tell."

"You might want to try harder if you want to destress." Fidel challenges, curious to how much stamina the young wolf can get from Zion. Normally, he would try taking things slow seeing as Zion was pregnant, but all bets were out the window as soon as Zion buries himself to the hilt inside Fidel. He's pretty sure most of the roughness is to be a lesson for Fidel for what is expected of him next time Zion wants to play, and boy is he taking notes.
