Okay, so I went to PAX and only did one thing, but that one thing literally made my day because I was so anxious about being able to actually coordinate this. Even in line for the thing I was worried I wouldn’t be able to do this.
While standing in line, I got to say hi to Wade first, and I really like Wade okay? He’s cool and funny and I got a high five from him. I really hope he didn’t think I was being weird or anything, but yeah. Got a high five and he signed my hat! Yay~.
Still in line, Jack walked by. I was still feeling really anxious, and I guess that showed because he came over and talked to me, and I don’t remember the beginning of the exchange exactly, but I said that I had something for him. He was like “You do?” And he seemed a bit surprised, but then I handed him this picture I did for him the other day and he said it was really cool and he gave me a hug! That especially made my day! I certainly wasn’t expecting more than just saying hi and giving him the picture, so the hug was awesome! Slightly unrelated, we kind of ended up hugging through a wall because he was inside the Polaris booth and I was not. That is slightly hilarious.
When the signing finally came, I was barely able to catch Mark to give him his picture before he had to leave. Again I think my anxiety showed on my face. Also I was fidgeting a lot because my feet hurt. Wehehe... bleh. But anyway I managed to give Mark the picture that I made for him before he had to scoot off. He was gonne be late for his plane ride home, so I’m just glad I was able to do that much. I hope he caught his plane!
Anyway, I got up to where Jack and Wade were signing things, and someone thankfully took a picture of me with Wade which HOPEFULLY I’ll be able to post later. I don’t have it on me right now. I fist-bumped Wade, and Jack signed my hat, and we said some funny things and it was overall just a really awesome day. I don’t think it could have been better!
