This is different from the novel. Jay kissed Sun in front of everyone (and I mean, everyone — board of directors, investors, actors, press, etc. It was a big party lol) just to prove a point that Sun is his person.

Not sure which version I prefer, but I think I like both 😄

This is also Bank's fate in the novel. He borrowed so much money thinking that he can pay it all back since he is a "sought-after" star, but after losing his backing, he was forced to become a web porn star by the loan shark that he is indebted to.

Not sure if anyone deserves this kind of ending, but Bank lost not only his dignity and self-worth. It is the endless humiliation that he will be mostly "remembered", if at all, for this downfall that gets him in the end.

If Sunny has shown even an iota of remorse, then it wouldn't have come this far. But he still thinks that he is blameless for everything that had happened. As if his choices didn't lead him here.

(In the novel, Sunny is already on verge of financial collapse, having borrowed money to keep up appearances. That loan shark card is the final nail in the coffin).
