After wandering around for a while, Kelvin finally found the elevator he was looking for. Stepping into it, he pressed the second floor and spent the short trip tapping his foot, looking at how huge the freaking elevator was, and thinking about how everything here was larger than life. It blew his mind, and as the elevator dinged and the doors opened, the size of their apartment continued to blow his mind. The ceilings were so tall, the couches and the chairs at the dinner table enough for someone much bigger and taller than him, and he didn’t even want to think about how overwhelming his bedroom was going to be. Instead, he settled in at the breakfast table, going back to work on the review he was making for himself. When the elevator dinged once more a few minutes later, he looked up from his notebook at the person standing in the door frame and saw Payton. He nodded, gave her a simple “hey,” and went back to work. // starter for @paytond2
