dfoaj9fdjsrfjirfjeire LOOK AT THIS ART THAT @its-kinda-snowy DID. I AM CRYING, IT LOOKS SO AMAZING. I was legit trying not to squeal loudly when I received this last night.
If you would like to support the artist, they are doing a thing for sketch commissions here. WORTH IT
Feeling artistically antsy after finishing a chapter for a Dinluke fic I haven't posted yet so decided to channel it. Based off this post with guest ship, Leia/Paz!
~※~
"Leia! Have you seen my favorite top!"
Leia rolled her eyes as she let in their first two guests. Din and Paz shared a look with her, both questioning, but she waved them off. "Ignore him," she huffed. "Dad roped him into helping him in the garage most of the day and he has been frantically getting ready this past hour since he got back."
The brother's expression turned amused, Din's softer with fondness that he thought he hid so well.
Din hoisted the box of craft beer in his arms. "Where do you want me to put this?"
"In the kitchen," Leia said with the authority of an event planner, even though it was a private party among friends to celebrate making it through another school year. "Can you put some in the fridge before guests arrive?"
Din nodded and walked over to the open-air kitchen.
Paz leaned closer to Leia. "Cyar'ika," he whispered, a grin on his face. "You still got that bet with Han and Lando about getting Din and Luke finally together today?"
Leia hummed an affirmative as she stepped into her boyfriend's personal space. He eagerly wrapped his arms around her shoulders, pulling her closer.
She reached up, gently grasped either side of Paz's head, and pulled him down to kiss him on the lips while she stood up on her toes to meet him halfway. Her boyfriend hummed into her mouth as he pressed against her mouth.
When they broke apart, Leia's chest felt pleasantly warm with gentle butterflies in her stomach at Paz's soft face. "Why you asking?" she chuckled, clasping her hands together around the man's neck. "You looking to get in on it?"
Paz snorted a laugh. "No thanks," he shook his head. His dark eyes twinkled when he added, "I wouldn't mind helping you win though."
"Leia!" Luke's voice carried down the hallway where the bedrooms were. "Have you seen my favorite top!?"
Leia smirked as she glanced at the hallway and then back at Paz. "Just enjoy the show," she gently patted his cheek.
"Yeah, I have!" she hollered back. "Din's in the kitchen!"
The clinking of bottle immediately stopped. From her vantage point, Leia could see Din frozen in front of the fridge door.
Then there was the pounding of footstep coming from the hallway and her twin rushed out, standing just at the entrance of the hall, in all his shirtless glory. He wore a mixed expression of excitement and fear- face flushed red- as he demanded breathlessly, "How did you find out?!"
Leia couldn't answer as she stared at her brother. Or more importantly, the number of small faded bruises along Luke's clavicle, ones that could easily be hidden by any shirt he would wear.
The silence that permeated the air was broken by Paz's roaring laughter. "I knew it!" He let go of Leia and made a straight line for his brother, who had turned around by this point. "I knew those scratches on your back weren't from a fight!"
Leia ignored her boyfriend as he practically tackled Din to the floor in favor of pining her brother with her gaze. "Brother dearest," she cooed all sickly sweet as she moved toward him. "You have been keeping a secret."
She felt the look of utter fear on her brother's face wasn't necessary, in her opinion, when he realized he fucked up. He glanced over at the kitchen but Leia knew that Din wouldn't be saving him anytime soon with Paz heckling him. "I don't know what you are talking about," Luke's voice was small.
"Those hickies say a different story." She addled up to her twin and hooked her hands around one of his arms before he could escape.
Luke pressed his lips together and glanced at Din again. "I was going to tell you," he muttered. His face was a tad pleading. "But we wanted to keep it quiet for a while. Just something between the two of us."
Something in Leia's chest loosened. At least she knew it wasn't a one-time thing; that it was at least fairly serious if both of them had talked about it.
Putting on a teasing smile, she pulled her twin back to his room. "Well then," she squeezed his arm, "while we look for a shirt for you, why don't you tell me how Din became your 'favorite top.'"
Luke giggled. "To be fair," he sighed breathlessly. "He is my only top."
Leia snorted while rolling her eyes. "Charming."
Her brother's fear washed away completely and left behind a besotted expression. "And I really want to stay with Din a long time," he added as they entered Luke's disaster of a room.
This is a TRAVESTY. There isn't enough Firefighter Din Djarin content ! So my brain is working on something and I may or may not have thought of Museum Educator Luke Skywalker- who works at a museum that is surrounded by a beautiful garden.
Okay, okay, Paz HATES anything having to do with the Empire right? Well that extends to the New Republic too. Not necessarily hates them so much but he feels they are just the same with just a new skin.
So imagine him meeting all 5 foot Leia, who mean what she says and willing to defend ANYONE for justice. He is smitten. He also doesn't know what to do. He is a mess.
And LEIA. Leia just sees this hulking man of steel and acts all Alpha like and just rolls her eyes. Only, only he ISN'T all like she expects??? He isn't afraid to voice his opinions but also listens to what other's say. He has a lot of honor and respects those that DESERVE it. And she is like '??? You aren't so bad???'
She can easily cow his 'macho' persona by knocking him down a peg or two. LMAO He actually is okay with that cause it helps keep him calm and focused. He knows sometimes that his anger gets the best of him. And he just gives Leia something stable to lean on. He is always going to be there cause that man is fucking LOYAL
