headcanon:

what if jax learned how to play the piano from isolating in his room so much.

when his parents were arguing or yelling, or when he's sad or in need of distraction, he distracts himself with music.

at some point, he got into playing instruments in his room.

then after a while, maybe a few weeks before he found the headset, he tried learning how to read sheet music. that's why he only knows two songs. those were the only ones he practiced so far.
