Born and raised in Austin, Texas.

His mother is a drug addict and a flake who never stuck around long enough to raise him or his twin brother, Michael.

His father bailed on their family before he was even born. He’s only met the man once and it did not go well so he has no relationship with the man. He’s a very tortured soul when it comes to his parents and doesn’t really talk about it or them much. 

Xavier was raised by his adopted aunt, alongside his cousin Chris, in a black household, they’re really the only family that he’s really had. 

He’s always been pretty much a giant dork and a nerd. Really into Mathematics, comic-books, and science. really into musical theater, a pop culture nut always making obscure references. He’s charming and quick-witted, always up for new experiences and fun things. Always finds ways to get into trouble. Loves old school R&B.

He graduated from Columbia University, majored in Mathematics, later on, got his teaching degree, did some traveling, wrote a very successful Erotic book under an alias, because he was not publishing that under his real name. Got into voice acting and has voiced a few cartoons here or there, and since moving to Portland six months ago started Substitute teaching Math. 

He lives with his sister Dylan and she was really the reason he moved to Portland in the first place to keep her out of trouble.

the youngest of 3 boys raised in salem, oregon by a single mother who was a runaway bride & cut off from the family

introverted & kept to himself, he was often picked on by his brothers & classmates 

it didn't help when he decided to come out as bisexual to a small group of friends & his family, it took them a while to accept him, but of course, rumors had started going around school

used music as a way to escape his everyday life & to express himself, he took piano, guitar, & vocal lessons since he was young

was never particularly the adventurous or outgoing type, but he felt best when performing on stage

attended portland state university to major in music before going on to study to be a music teacher, & decided to stay in portland so that he was still close to family but away enough to live on his own 

never had a serious relationship, but he did tend to sleep around a lot to explore his sexuality, but he was mostly afraid that he'd end up like his mother by running away if things got too serious or his partner would hurt him first 

after getting a teaching position at richmond high school, he also got a job at crossroads music to earn some extra cash 

currently lives with a roommate, keeps to himself most of the time, works a lot, & doesn't have much of a life outside of the classroom

Facts to know

Blake is 23 years old and has lived in Portland Oregon all his life with his Father.

Blake’s mother passed away giving birth two months early due to complications which put both their lives at risk.

His father is a very successful international Lawyer allowing him to be raised in one of the best neighborhoods Portland has to offer: Alameda

Blake could best be described as a golden boy although out his school career putting only his best face forward.

He plays most sports and does fairly well keeping his body well taken care of.

He now attends law school following after his father and works at his practice gaining experience.

Blake moved out and into a two bedroom apartment with his best friend Tyler Hale over two years ago in Richmond.

Blake and Tyler have been friends since the age of 6 & 8 after Blake’s father took Tyler in with a case gone wrong. Unable to save his father the man felt his only way to live with the loss was to save the boy from being thrown into a broken. Tyler is as close to a brother and family aside from his father that Blake has ever gotten willing to follow the older boy to hell if asked. 

Giselle Blackwood - Girlfriend/Childhood friend

Blake and Giselle have be friends for as long as he can remember and further from what picture can tell. Her mother being very close to his own since high school making it only natural that she would take care of him when his father would leave on business often. His very first memory he can recall is that of the fiery haired girl claiming into his bed with him at the age of 5 because he couldn’t stop crying. Blake had struggled to sleep the older he got and the more he realized he didn’t have a mother and his father never seemed to stick around long enough. Eventually both family pushed the boy and girl to be something more his freshman year when his father asked why he hadn’t asked Giselle to the homecoming dance seeing as they had been nominated for maid & squire. From that moment on the two had been pinned to one another and not waiting to rock the boat he followed along knowing he cared deeply for her already.

leila and her twin bother sami were born in cambridge, massachusetts where her parents both worked at harvard. while sami seemed to follow in their parents’ footsteps by being mad academic, leila occupied her time by becoming her high school’s networking master just because she was a bit bored and figured it wouldn’t be too difficult to hack. still considers this to be her greatest achievement.

leila spent some of her childhood years in her father’s native saudi arabia while he was doing research there. speaks fluent arabic. 

got her bachelor of science in computer science from the university of southern california. remained in california for a few years and worked as a software engineer for two enormous companies - think like apple big - before relocating to portland where she now works with her business partner (a possible wc in the future!), providing software development and consulting to local startups and businesses. 

leila has now lived in downtown portland for two years. 

teaches coding to local youngsters in her spare time. other hobbies include avoiding her parents’ insistent questions regarding her relationship status. 

leila takes her job incredibly seriously now that she’s actually doing something she likes but is otherwise pretty chill. talk to her about tech-related things and she will immediately consider you to be her friend.

Hello everyone! I’m Sarah, I’m terrible at intro’s if you can’t tell yet. Here is my bby Grace and there’s some info about her below the cut. Hopefully this shows up in the tags bur probably not. Anyway, hit me up if you wanna plot or anything.

She was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma but spent her years between Tulsa and Lekki, Nigeria, where her father lives and does business.

No, her parent’s aren’t divorced nor are they separated nor is one cheating on the other as far as she knows. Her dad just lives in Nigeria while her mom now lives in Portland. Her family started living that way when she was five. Though her mom would go home for months and leave Grace with aunties and uncles.

She went down to Texas for college on a scholarship, getting her degree in Journalism and International Studies. If she hadn’t gotten a scholarship she probably would have gone somewhere closer to home. Joined a sorority for a year but quit because why should she pay that much to socialize. She was also on Newspaper.

Grace likes a good party but anything with trouble is a no to her. If she gets there (and yes she always arrives late, she can’t help it, even when she tries to be early she’s late.) and there’s chaos like a fight or some shouting, she’ll leave. She’s gone.

Her college scholarship was for soccer. Has played since before she can remember. Never thought she was good enough to be recruited and honestly didn’t want to play in college but her parents wouldn’t let her turn down the offer. She never tried to go pro because they don’t pay enough to be worth it.

Grace is not a silent person. There are some issues that she just has to argue with people about when they say dumb things because how can someone think that way. That’s where her journalism major kicks in, she likes facts, she likes proving people wrong and she likes writing. She will not argue on things she has no knowledge about because she has no desire to look like a fool in public.

She is the middle of 3. All girls. Her parents think she’s loud because she had to get attention from them some way or another and she wasn’t much of a troublemaker so there.

Not a fan of her job but the girl needs money. Her ultimate goal is to work in politics.

Riley wanted to be just like her father, a detective that solved any mystery set before them. She’d graduated high school early, gone to college for criminal justice, and spent her time in uniform before a freak accident rocketed her to her intended career path. Her goal was the be a sergeant, and now she was well on her way. One of the youngest detectives on the force, Riley found herself placed in a large city where she could find many other detectives who could mentor her toward success. Unfortunately, she seemed to trip on every turn. Where she’d always excelled, Riley found herself challenged and even failing. Though she refused to let it get the best of her, Riley couldn’t help but let the discouragement get to her.
