Giselle was never one to back down, her pride was too big and overall, she knew she was in the right - she wouldn’t fight if she wasn’t. Giselle’s face contorted to show the disgust in the man’s use of outdated slang. “I could say the same to you,” she sighed. “Without the use of already outdated slang,” she added. Giselle let out a chuckle and without a word, she pulled out her phone and typed the word of significance into the safari search bar. “Tactic,” she began reading. ““An action or strategy-” commenting on my red hair - “carefully planned to achieve a specific end” attempting to put me down and/or scare me off,” she finished as she shoved her iPhone into her pocket. “So to answer your question about what is supposed to be happening right now, you are supposed to walk away - and possibly think of ways to not put half of the lecture hall to sleep - while I continue to stand here and bask in the fact of just how much you look like a real life Jimmy Neutron,” Giselle smiled, although her words were anything but friendly. “Thanks for at least trying to provide some entertainment,” the girl smiled before turning, making sure her hair swung out, before returning to the conversation with her friend.
Xavier didn’t feel the need to pay much attention to the words the redhead directed in his direction. Why should he have to after all? She was young and from the sound of it too up her ass to realize her own mistake. When she finally got around to commenting his hair, however, that Xavier did take notice to. Not because he was offended. Not by any means, but because he hadn’t heard that comparison since college and it was still funny that people seemed to think of it as an insult. When the Redhead had finally finished her incessant speaking he simply chuckled and called in her direction. “You’d be right if your argument wasn’t purely based on your own assumptions. You assume that I was trying to insult you. You assume I had any goal at all with that. That I was attempting to put you down and/or scare you off, but I wasn’t trying to do either. It wasn’t even an insult. Your red hair is a unique attribute, and fairly noticeable it was second nature to even use it to address you by. Didn’t give much thought to it, and definitely have any sort of purpose when using it so once again not a tactic.” He explained as he took a joint from his pocket and shrugged. “But hey nothin’ to sweat over.”
