Born in Bugangri neighborhood in a city called Cheongwon-gun, Chorong is a warm-hearted country girl. She's the leader, vocalist, rapper and mama of the girl group called Apink. She's also a song writer, the most recent song that she has written is The Wave by Apink. Not only can she sing, but she is also an actress. Chorong is a very hard worker and will always do her best to protect the others of Apink. Even though she can be tough at times, she only means the best for everyone and is a very kind person. Her special skill is hapkido, which she's third degree black belt in. There are times when she can get easily annoyed and be shy, but when it comes down to it, she is always there for everyone she cares about. She isn't the type of person to give up on someone she cares dearly about either. Don't let her tough country girl appearance intimidate you. She's really just a cute panda that loves sweets and action movies.

When people get upset, they usually end up doing something very reckless that they will end up regretting. That is exactly what happened with Chorong in this situation. Once she had gotten home exhausted that night, Chorong immediately went to Instagram to check on the fans. It always gave her joy to see the happiness that Apink brought into their lives. Their support always helped her to get through rough days when she felt she could not go on. That is why she will always pay attention to the pink pandas, they are like family to her. Though, not everyone on Instagram will see Apink in a good light. Usually, she would not let them get to her when it involved hateful words against her. But if they attack anyone she cares deeply for, anger would start to surface. She absolutely hated when those dear to her were attacked, she just would not allow it to go on. This time in reaction to some hate that continued to go on with a certain instagram account, Chorong made a screenshot and posted it onto her own instragram. Realizing that this wasn't an action she should have made, it didn't take long for her to delete the picture. The whole point of her having an instagram account is to connect with the fans, not bring up negativity. After explaining why she had taken down the picture, she put her phone away and hid herself in the restroom. Though she did still feel upset, she also felt sad because no one should be treated that way. No one should be hated on for being the way that they are or for existing. Chorong's vision blurred and she couldn't stop the teardrops from rolling down her face. She sat silently on the floor of the restroom with her back pressed against the wall. She just could not understand how someone can hate another so much. And there was nothing she could do to really stop the hate from continuing. Not everything is good in the world and she understands that completely. But her family members and fellow members were all good people, who did nothing wrong to be treated this way. Bringing the back of her hand up to cover her mouth, the tears continued to flow down her cheeks. All she wanted to do was protect those close to her.
