why are you such a homestuck slut

short answer: homestuck good

long answer: while it does have flaws, homestuck is an incredible piece of media that hits so many criteria of what one would like to have in a story they read, especifically if they’re invested in pop culture and specficially in internet culture. not only that, it also has remarkable word building and introduced us to a made up alien species we get to explore and even make information up for and bring ourselves into even to the tiniest details. the story is long and easy to get into as most of it reads like text and the visual and auditory stimulation makes it easier to follow, while things like the flashes - specifically the ones you can interact with - keep you invested and involved in the story even more. the attention to details in text, image, and sound in it is amazing. the soundtrack is great (and no matter what music genre you’re into you can probably find a few songs you’d like) and some of the art is gorgeous (and the purposely shitty mspaint one is such a great contrast to it). thanks for coming to my tedtalk.
