(Diff anon) Besides Post Covid, I don't remember the last time the fandom has been very lively. (The infamous ban of 2018 didn't help) Only things I can think of that could really perk it up for a bit is another [RPG] game{weren't we speculating a space one for the longest time?}, a lore-filled special that rattles us to the core, or another movie.

Yeah I agree. it's been pretty quiet and I think we need a big event to spice us up. I think there is (?) or was a game in development at ubisoft??? Or at least murmurs of that. I'm really hoping we'll get something like that. It's hard bc a lot of cool ideas got used for phone destroyer but I honestly was betting on a cowboys type rpg with how much trey love RDR.
I have kind of a random question. Youāve been in the fandom for so long and I always get curious about some people who stick around so long, have you ever thought stuff like āMaybe Iām getting bored of South Parkā or even feeling like the era is completely over even if it never truly is or have you never even once considered a life where South Park isnāt a part of it anymore?
Sometimes I like the show more than other times, but I don't think I've ever had a "I'm never going to come back to it/love it" moment. And I think I've embedded myself too much into some of the direct lore of this fanbase to ever be able to Not be part of it. It's gonna fuckin haunt me for life lmao. This show and this fanbase has been with me through some of the biggest parts of my life, for better and worse, and it's gotten me through all of that, and I've met some of the most important people in my life through it. So I think it's gonna be a part of me forever
so i never watched su future when it aired because I liked how the original ending of the series was and didn't want to ruin it for myself. And I saw spoilers back then that kinda pissed me off so I never got around to it. But this past week I basically rewatched the entirety of su on a whim including the movie (had never seen previously) and future (also never watched) and man like. the end of future really did suck ass. this really could have been some fun slice of life post-war gem shenanigans but we had to have an angst fest and then he just fuckin. left I guess. Like I get it. It made sense. But it wasn't FUN

Clyde is my "ethical Cartman", so to speak, in that he's actually not all that ethical (but comparatively to Cartman he is), but instead of stewing about how he's evil and how much he annoys me etc etc wahh his character is different now, i take great joy at his antics and encourage him to get worse strictly on the principle that It's funny because it's Clyde. Clyde becoming an anti-vaxxer Li'l Charlie Kirk type is funny only because Clyde is the vessel in which this is happening. it's funny because it's Clyde. my new slogan
