There's a misconception that healthy living means you won't be able to enjoy life, especially food. If you believe this, you're not being creative enough! The most fun I've had since I started my wellness journey in 2004 when I enrolled in @nutritionschool has been through experimenting with food. I've gone through every iteration of plant-based and come full circle (Paleo and Keto has been around FOREVER, folks). I don't even know what to call how I eat now. I just listen to what my body is asking for. I had so much fun learning about food and cooking, and still do. And because I never focused on counting calories, fat, protein, carbs, etc, eating never felt like deprivation. I also never locked myself into one dietary philosophy. I let my body tell me when it was time to try something else and I did. Every time I choose pleasure over dieting, deprivation, and willpower, I win. Like pouring my smoothies into oversized wine glasses when drinking from shaker bottles doesn't excite me. #pcoshealthcoach #pcoswellness (at Kailua, Honolulu County, Hawaii) https://www.instagram.com/p/Bw-Ud88AV6g/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=pg2h46pn2vii
