HE HAD SPOKEN TO HIS therapist at length about trying to make up for the things he had done in his last years at Hogwarts. And despite being counseled to hold off apologizing to any of his victims just yet, Draco had insisted that he felt good about it. So together, they had written a small apology letter that he could perhaps read out.
Of course, he had rehearsed the whole conversation multiple times, but that did not mean that he wasn’t fumbling with the paper holding his apology as he waited for her to open the door. He had used some of the remnants of his father’s connections to learn where she lived, and despite doubts making him change his mind on MULTIPLE occasions, in the end, he had gone to her place anyway.
“Hi, Granger…” He muttered to himself, as he waited. “No, that’s stupid. Hello Hermione…” Would she want me to call her by her-...” He was cut off by the door opening. “Granger, oh… hello.” SMOOTH… Very smooth…
