I do think that this should have been its own post though, because I think that other people who talked about this art theft business or those who are confused about the whole situation should see this as well, not only me. You’re welcome to make this a post, as I think that would have been better.
I have read through this numerous times and I see all of your intended points now. Admittedly, I should have processed my thoughts a little bit more. I did kinda look at other people’s opinions and not structured insights.
But also, I think that there are some points that you made that I don’t necessarily agreed with/understood completely, such as the “nature of the work used” section: I thought that public images were automatically copyrighted unless stated otherwise? That was what I was taught/told by numerous people in the past, correct me if I’m wrong, please. A little bit more clarification on that would also be appreciated, thank you.
And from what I’ve seen, one of the artists expressed their feelings towards having their art used by you: did you see their post? I don’t have it right now, someone else might, but I saw it and I think it’s worth looking at, just to get a window into how they feel about it.
Though I will admit that there are a number of people who criticize you, I actually try not to pay attention to them but they seem so fired up that I find myself looking into it. I don’t want to antagonize people, but some of them are so fired up about everything and I don’t seem to find any sort of respect or appreciation for what you do. Granted, I shouldn’t listen to them in the first place because criticizing is not my thing but there are some things that I personally dislike and when someone that I respect does such things, I feel conflicted. Like I said, I admit I shouldn’t have read into what they thought.
