PDX Air - The Portland Air Problem
In 2013, the U.S. Forest Service conducted research to test the air quality of Portland. They found that Portland’s air was host to several toxic chemicals such as cadmium, arsenic, lead, cobalt, and chromium. The UO Multimedia Journalism graduate students gathered interviews, research, and data throughout several months to create awareness.
