What was this little human doing here all alone? Usually, humans this girl's age only appeared in the forest along with guardians. Had she been separated? Rin's tail flicked back and forth as he thought, contemplating whether to climb down from his safe place in a tree or to ask the girl if she was okay. It didn't look like it'd be any harm for him to do so...
He closed his eyes and concentrated, feeling his ears, nails, and teeth shrink. If he tried to approach the girl like his true self, he'd probably scare her off- it'd happened to Rin a few times. Opening his eyes, he slipped out of the tree, walking over to the girl and kneeling down to her level curiously. His tail wagged behind him- although Rin was aware that the rest of his features would cause alarm, he never bothered to hide his tail.
"Are you okay?" Rin asked, cocking his head to the side like a curious dog.
