Everyone should send me encouraging messages because I’m having a hard time dealing with this breakup. Yes, Shayna and I are broken up. It’s very sad.

Is it just me, or is “Carry On” by Fun. the anthem of college students who drink too much to escape the fear of their uncertain future and so hold each other together and drag each other toward the the lack of a finish line that is young adulthood?

My favorite kind of joke is “fake wine tasting,” which is when you describe the taste of a wine as if you know what you’re talking about when you obviously don’t. 

“Hm...” *smacks lips* “This is an Italian grape, barreled in thousand-year-old oak, then taken on a slow boat to China. This is a wine that has had its heart broken a time or two.”
