These savory and tasty bacon turkey meatballs are perfect for a Paleo diet. The peach honey mustard sauce offers a sweet and tangy contrast, and the bacon adds a smoky flavor while keeping the meatballs moist. Ideal as a main course or appetizer that fits the Paleo diet.
Ingredients: 1 lb ground turkey. 4 slices of bacon, finely chopped. 1/2 cup almond flour. 1/4 cup finely chopped onion. 1/4 cup finely chopped parsley. 1 egg. 1/2 tsp salt. 1/2 tsp black pepper. 1/2 tsp garlic powder. 1/2 tsp smoked paprika. 1/4 cup canned peach puree. 2 tbsp honey. 2 tbsp Dijon mustard. 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar.
Instructions: Ground turkey, chopped bacon, egg, onion, parsley, almond flour, black pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika should all be combined in a sizable mixing bowl. Blend until thoroughly blended. Set the oven temperature to 375F 190C. Roll the mixture into meatballs about the size of a golf ball, then arrange on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper. The meatballs should be cooked through and golden brown after 20 to 25 minutes of baking in a preheated oven. Make the sauce while the meatballs are baking. Peach puree, honey, Dijon mustard, and apple cider vinegar should all be combined in a small saucepan. Cook the sauce over low heat, stirring constantly, for about 5 to 7 minutes, or until it thickens and starts to caramelize. After the meatballs are cooked, take them out of the oven and cover them with the peach honey mustard sauce. If desired, top the hot Bacon Turkey Meatballs with extra parsley and serve with Peach Honey Mustard Sauce.
