i hc that when myers is comfortable enough with his s/o he’ll soft but in the michael way to them. (maybe pulling them closer “subtly” when they’re watching shows or squeezing them in his arms gently, so gently you thought you were imagining it but no) also he’ll deny it till his last breath but he is fucking clingy and wants physical affection. mans just wants some hugs and someone that cares about him, he might seem disinterested but he genuinely enjoys listening about you rambling about anything, your day? that one cute dog you saw on the way to work? yes. altho he’ll probs already know since he stalks follows you around a bit... just so creeps don’t touch whats his

Please Michael is so absolutely one of those s/o's whose love language is by giving physical touch, but he doesn't know how to actually convey it 🥺 I'll also take it to my mf grave that his biggest receptive love language is words of affirmation or quality time cause when you really think about it, he's like always been neglected in some form- Though it's not confirmed but rather speculated and implied, the reason Michael even made his first kill was because he was jealous that his sister was neglecting him to sleep with her boyfriend, to which his parents sent him off for obvious reasons. Even when you completely ditch the narrative of the first movie that Michael just wanted to stalk and kill babysitters specifically because that's the task his sister was ignoring and take on the fact he wants to kill Laurie because of their blood relation, its so blatantly obvious it's because he still resents his family for any neglect he faced from them initially. Like I cannot be convinced that should he become romantically involved with someone he wouldn't be an anxious lover who's very clearly protective and loves their s/o, but is always too shy/anxious/scared to show it in an apparent fashion- even non romantically like in the Rob Zombie adaptation, Michael is a somewhat sentimental person to care enough to keep that photo of he and Laurie and deliver it to her. Anyways what I'm trying to say is Michael Myers please hml.

i forgot to send this in in the last ask but what’d bokuto or michael myers do if their crush or s/o (whichever is easier for you!) gets extremely bad nightmares?

Omgomgomg okay so I actually have A LOT of thoughts on this-

So for Bokuto he's definitely more attentive with the way he shows his affections and is a lot more obvious about the way he loves you. I imagine that he doesn't really have a specific love language and rather just likes to do acts of love as they come naturally to him, he's very adaptable to you and how you like to be loved because of this too. If you were to have chronic nightmares, especially the kind that wake you up in tears or have you trembling in your sleep, he would be absolutely flustered at first trying to scramble his thoughts about what to do- whether it be the 1st time or 100th time. He'd probably be too afraid to touch you initially for fear of making you feel claustrophobic, unless you were still asleep by the time he recognized your nightmares, and would focus really heavily on words of affirmation that all the doors and windows in the house are locked, you two are the only ones home, etc just to try and calm you down initially and ease your thoughts. It wouldn't be much longer after he really composed himself for the situation that he would start in by wrapping a single arm around you and then the second if it seems to make you feel better, slowly rocking you back and forth. Now Bokuto being Bokuto, he hates to have you feeling shaken up even after you've fully calmed down, but he also can't stay serious for the life of him. Depending on what your nightmare was about, he wouldn't hesitate to grab his bat and check behind every door, under every bed, outside every window, wherever it was necessary just to reassure you that it was all just in your head and that he's here to keep anything from happening to you in the real world.

Michael however, is a lot less outwardly affectionate like I mentioned in my last post, but he is extremely protective over you. He's definitely had his fair share of nightmares that left him in shambles that he couldn't go back to sleep from, so he underatands much better than Bokuto about what it is you're truly feeling and how to go about helping you recover from it. He isn't good with his words and doesn't trust himself to say the right things to calm your nerves, but he knows that he can at least try to soothe you through it and let you have your moment to cry it out, offering you his shoulder to sob on or a hand on your back which he'd hesitate to rub circles with at first, but your emotional distress is worth much more to him than his own insecurity. He would patiently wait with you as long as it took before you'd be willing to tell him about what scared you so bad, taking all of the details into account should any of them give him a better idea of how to proceed. Most typically, however, Michael would do what Michael does best and watch- sitting on the mattress with his back against the headboard and your head in his lap, a hand on your shoulder to assure you he was still there until you'd eventually fall back asleep again, taking it upon himself to sit up all night and keep an eye on things, just to make sure you felt safe and that no one so much as looked at you while you slept.
