Pealing Bells

Permeate the air, calling from a distance

Entering the soul, music of enlightenment

Anointed is the head of those who use their instruments to guide others

Listen with ears to hear the cries of those who need to unburden themselves

Images in the mind if steeples, gargoyles and Notre Dame in Paris

Neal before the alter take the holy rights

Going forth feel cleansed of sin sings the chimes

Bring forth a better version of yourself in this place and time

Exist still feeling closer to forces unknown

Long on the heart the bells continue to tole

Lullabies remembered from youth til old

Save yourself, protect your immortal soul
