I found it fascinating there are so many fics about LI x non mc here, because honestly I was thinking about the same thing when I was playing (that this characters at some point in time did date someone else). that must be hard to date any of the guys knowing somewhere out there is literally reincarnation of their biggest love/soulmate/someone they gave up their life for. Also, technically, MC is never having reverse harem, from what I understood this are alternative timelines where she chooses one of the guys, so every timeline 4 of them do not get the girl.. tbh living in a relationship with a constant idea that „if that girl breaks up with her bf my partner will come running to her” is so angsty

Something mysterious about echo flowers and the fact they repeat after everyone but Fatal

They never repeated Fatal's words. At first it was not that surprising for me bc canonically Fatal's voice is half-whisper and I thought maybe they just don't hear him but we see how FE shouts and they still don't repeat after him AND also 👇

Sometimes there's moments like this in comic when echo flowers say strange words, even if theres no one around (it's clearly not from Fatal bc he got punched with blaster I don't think he's in mood rn). It might be an auditory hallucinations

They also dont repeat after Gaster Flowey, it can be counted as foreshadowing but it also makes it even more interesting. Echo flowers repeated lines from each Sans or Papyrus who got dragged here, even Patch

So what's the reason Fatal become an exception? Maybe he's just not considered "alive" by the world or the world can't recognise him as an "real" being (remember the time Outer tried to capture his soul but couldn't) it reminds of Core Frisk somehow

OR it could be a cool reference to undertale, when echo flowers become quiet after we do genocide route. In chapter 3 they repeated the sound of bones that Fatal broke but they were dead silent with Fatal after chapter 4

Adulting is hard, but sometimes you are just blessed with this peaceful moments in your life. For me it’s eating instant ramen in my unfurnished apartment in a foreign country I just moved to, while having the most beautiful view from my terrace.

Thinking that years ago it was hard for me to imagine even surviving to the age I am now

One thing I love about Patch Notes is that it confirms that Fatal is an unreliable narrator

But the surprise is that Patch is ALSO an unreliable narrator. Point of view is his and he has no clue what's happening with FE so a lot of things he said about him was blurry and strangely worded. He describes Fatals behavior like a person who never encountered someone with psychotic episodes, and that's true! He never encountered and doesn't know how to deal with it. This is why reader who didn't read main comic misunderstands Fatal as rude and weird guy
