What I don't understand is that how can Snoopy and Woodstock + the other birds communicate if Snoopy physically cannot speak? Snoopy only "talks" via thinking bubbles instead of speech bubbles, because he's a dog. Woodstock and the birds speak with speech bubbles in their chicken scratch dialect. How can Woodstock answer Snoopy's "dialogue" in the comics when he literally "thinks" them?
Are the birds just canonically telepaths in the strips? Because that would certainly not be impossible in comparison to the actual Peanuts Lore. That, and if the birds can in fact read people's minds in the Peanuts universe, I feel like that concept would be ripe with humor in itself.
