Favorite death (monster, player character, NPC, etc).probably narlos and desdemona are tied, but narlos wins out here because desdemona didn’t exactly die die. i mean shes dead but shes still around and were gonna reincarnate her, and her death triggered a lot of plot developments and was necessary for those.
narlos’s was a huge emotional impact, because it was 100% avoidable, but at great risk and cost, and we couldnt have foreseen it really. its also a death were not being really allowed to forget easily - there were characters close to them, and were meeting their family, and just always getting reminders. kinda like hughes in fma (and xavi said that they were taking a leaf out of fma’s book here, is why i say that). its heartwrenching.9. seeing what happens when we throw all these people together for on the fly roleplay! some wild shit can happen. and some funny shit. i just like roleplaying a lot and seeing what happens when we put like five heads together because then it becomes something none of us could have predicted.13. in age order we have:
aster, my baby boy. kind of a dolt, but a well meaning and technically smart dolt. hes a pacifist and a bit of a doormat because hes spent nearly his whole life being jerked around as a puppet under the thrall of some kind of ‘evil’ god and is trying to cope with being Himself now and growing a spine while coping with the loss of humanity hes experienced under said control. (well i mean hes a sea elf, but you know, for a certain degree of ‘humanity’. hes been permanently fucked up both mentally and physically)
evelynn, a half orc half undine, my favorite girl, shes big and strong and extremely impulsive and spends half her time kinda drunk but she can take a beating and dish one out no problem. has a dark past with the mafia and was also a midwife and basket weaver so shes all over the place with talents but shes more heroic than she gives herself credit for and recently lost her arm saving herself and one of our npcs. then immediately proceeded to eat nearly 1500 venomous leeches. shes just like that.
evania is our half elf rogue turning cleric! shes led a tough as hell life on a continent thats been absolutely fucking blasted (which we are trying to investigate) and hasnt had anybody to trust. shes got a natural perception modifier of like +18 at level 9 that doesnt lessen when she sleeps, if you want a demonstration of how Wary and on guard she is - and she’s often the one who takes the lead in coming up with plans and thinking on her feet for the party. definitely the most down to earth out of all our characters, and i think theyve all grown to trust her instincts and look to her. the most important person to her Ever is probably alex, her long lost twin brother whos somewhat more human-passing that the crew picked up in thuvia.
renata is our human wizard! a bit of a ball of anxiety, which is reasonable given her upbringing - her parents got fucked up to hell and back by the erlking and she was raised by her dad’s best friend on a completely isolated island. loves to put enemies in pits after we found out that it worked pretty well in the middle of town in a fight once. shes smart and sweet, but also kind of stupid in the way that wizards are, like aster. also she has a wooden prosthetic leg from a bear attack and we recently realized that she wasnt using an arcane focus and were joking about what if it was her leg, because it could be.

Hi! I don't know if this is the best place to ask, but I have a 30x12x12 tank and I was wondering if you know of any reptiles that would be able to live comfortably in that fairly small space?
Yeah! Turn that sucker on its side and make it vertical. You could keep all kinds of arboreal things in that- it’s a bit small for an adult crestie or garg (they like a wider footprint) but a whole bunch of day gecko species would do great in that. You could also do a mourning gecko colony! If you keep it horizontal, a male Kenyan sand boa would do well in there. They stay nice and wee.
