Artistic influences?
Oh man this is a big question, I’ll start with my most recent influences then go back from there (this may be long lol)
@stanchez-sloppy-seconds @spinetrick @beta-19 @professor-cinnamon-roll are big BIG influences to me currently with Stanchez and a ‘cartoon style’ or really, finding my own style among the hybrid of the RnM style. They each have something really unique and striking about their styles. This post is basically where it all started and its nice that I can call these guys my friends now who call me out when necessary XD
As I love to make watercolours when I’m not working digitally, @hennerzartwork has a beautiful gallery and does what I wish I could with their space and galaxy works. Same goes for Lora Zombie and their style of painting.
And some really old artists I’ve loved since devianart days: Pearleden (aka Elixeden now) really made me push my art past just simple line and colour to make cool textured art both digitally and traditionally. There’s two other artists from deviantart I won’t be able to link as they have moved and name changed so much, one was a pokemon artist who had a beautifully simple style and gorgeous use of pastel colours, while the other, SHARKHEAD I believe he was known by is another old old favourite who was an old friend and made some really cool and wacky designs that inspired me to branch out with my own kind of weirdness.I could go on but those are my favourites off the top of my head rn, I could go way back into art history and tell you how much I love Van Gogh etc
