To my older followers
God dammit y’all are lovely, thank you for following and continuing to follow even if Stanchez/RaM hasn’t been a big motivation of mine rn, but I still love Stanchez and try to draw it now and then but I’m a little out of practice whoops
I’m moving house so maybe I’ll do something cosy for Stanchez
but also to the new followers, you guys are rad, thanks for following no matter what I seem to be drawing rn lol
Hello, you have been identified as An Awesome Creator™! Congrats, you rock! So that all of your readers can shower you with some extra love today, please tell us your favourite creations of yours and why you like them and then send this to another five creators you think deserve this title! ❤️❤️
Lin you are so special ❤️❤️
Starting with my favourite Stanchez, for the background, the expressions and meaning, it was a lot fun to draw.
My DnD Tiefling Paladin Aiwei, I’m proud of this because it took me over a year to feel happy with their design and character, but I feel like I finally got somewhere and I love it.
And of course, Art Nouveau Mollymauk from Critical Role, I put a lot of time and love into this, and it came out looking stunning, I couldn’t be happier.
21 and 30
21: Do you like to challenge yourself?
I’ve been trying to practice things outside my comfort zone more this year, I’ve started to put more effort into backgrounds (as we all enjoy sweeping them under the bed) but sadly time stops me from being too ambitious.
30: What inspires you to not just make art, but to be a better artist?
I think you know the answer to this, but having friends who are artistically inclined, and watching them progress and accomplish the things they dream of helps me to be inspired in the same way, always aiming higher and feeling more confident that I can do what i put my mind to. But on the other hand, having so much content to consume online to be inspired by and grow my imagination is just as helpful :)
For the artist asks: #9 and #12?
9: How much time do you spend drawing on an average day?At the moment I have only managed 4 hours per afternoon to draw (between every other busy thing) but when I’m not so busy irl I can sit down to draw for a good 6-7 hours at a a time.12: Is it okay for people to ask you about your process? It’s perfectly fine to ask! I did actually make a super shoddy process on how I drew the Art Nouveau pic*But to put my art simply at the moment, I have started with very rough sketches > a second more detailed sketch > various brush sizes for the line and I will make sure all lines are closed > selecting around the line > inverse selection > bucket tool to colour > mask layers above and away I go with colouring. Those are basic flats, for other works its a little more tricky.I used Clip studio a majority of the time, but I will sometimes clean up or use certain effects from Paint Tool Sai and Photoshop CS6.
(*if you would like I will reblog with a ref to the art nouveau pic?)
Inktober (but it's style practice)
Sublime
Art nouveau
Cubism / Futurism
Impressionism
Fauvism
Avant garde
Photorealism
Minimalism
Renaissance
Pop art
Challenge, pic 4-5 movements and make a work inspired from the style.
Manage 1 a week for Inktober, subject can be whatever you wish.
I don't have the time/energy to make a drawing every day of the month, but I am interested to try some different styles with my art, applying some old themes to a modern setting etc. So once a week I will try to make a full finished work, even if it is the only thing I manage to draw in the week I will be happy.
Support me on Ko-Fi
Ahoy, so I’ve set up a ko-fi for plans further down the track, but I don’t even have the time to make a flowery post about it, and I seriously am broke rn :(
I’ve just returned from 2 months abroad, that means I haven’t worked in two months, and not only that my phone has dropped dead right as I’ve returned (at least it wasn’t during). Any amount of donation is welcome, as I just need to find my feet again, the sooner the phone is replaced the sooner I can focus on making art regularly and put the funding into far more beneficial places :)
I don’t even mind if you just come look at the page and share it if someone else may be able to help!

Hiatus (till october??)
Just to confirm, I’m not dead, I just haven’t drawn anything but 2 background scene things (or rather finished anything). Thanks to being unmotivated and incredibly busy? I’m going to Europe for 3 months and have been working my butt off recently, while looking at applying to a new degree, graduating the last one, and moving to Sydney, so don’t blame me XD;
Edit... I have a little bit of spark left so i will upload maybe 6 images before I go then a slow drip feed of art after I’m gone in q or when I draw traditional work while away, coz I wanna keep my page active, but new digital work? will be lacking...
