Pearlstar (Pearlgaze): Leader of RainClan

Pearlstar is the youngest leader the Clans have ever seen. She was chosen by StarClan to lead after a former rogue called Ashfoot and his lackeys betrayed her Clan, killing the previous leader and nearly destroying it altogether. Luckily Pearlstar is a persuasive speaker and she was able to get close to self-named “Ashstar.” He allowed her extra freedoms than the other RainClan prisoners. This eventually allowed her to get a contact to LakeClan, who came to her aid and won RainClan back from the rogues. RainClan AND LakeClan were left with only a few cats each after the battle was won, and as a result both were forced to recruit outsiders to fill in their ranks (this time, they got to know the newcomers before officially inviting them to join their Clans). It has worked out in their favor, and both Clans are thriving again.

Pearlstar is known to be diplomatic and fair, and a very good debater and conversationalist. Her Clan respects her friendly but firm way of approaching others, especially where outsiders and potential new Clan members are involved. Her way with words helps her in negotiating with other leaders; however, she’s often perceived as bossy due to her tendency to dominate the conversation. She tries to be the best role model for her Clanmates that she can be, but being leader has turned her into a bit of an anxious mess. Her high-strung nature can cause her to lash out if she gets overwhelmed. She isn’t proud of this side of herself and she does her best to hide her anxiety from her Clanmates. She’s done a good job repairing RainClan so far. She’s hoping that her efforts will be enough to help them stand against a second wave of rogues that is prophesied to rise again.

Pearstar is the daughter of Windflight and Rippletail (both deceased) and the sister of Redmask (turned rogue). Her mate is (not gonna be revealed just yet). Leafheart and Creekflight are her adoptive children.

Boarstar of StormClan and Sparkstone of RainClan are Pearlstar’s greatest enemies.

Fun Fact: Pearlstar is albino and she was a very sickly kit because of it. The late medicine cat Burrtail didn’t think she’d make it past kithood.
