Kits! (to no one's surprise)

Grey kit -- Wolfkit

Orange kit -- Creekkit (or Elkkit if the full name is Elkcreek)

The chances either Spore or Pea have someone who blessed them is very low, so these kits have health issues associated with being Dark Kits.

Wolfkit has optic neuritis, so their eyes are extremely sensitive and just moving them hurt. Because of this, they rarely open their eyes. When they are open, colours appear duller. They also have ataxia and have trouble with balance. (I want to say this is a result of the Dark Affects affecting their brain, but I'm not knowledgeable enough to confidently say it affects them in these areas but not others even though the same part of the brain is damaged [cerebellum]). Generally put, they struggle with muscle movement, balance, and have weak eyes.

Creek/Elkkit is prone to seizures. Right now I can't think of anything else, so let me know your ideas.

Also let me know what you think their genders should be and other general ideas!

I know you weren't 100% sure on the idea of pearose and sporelake having kits but I'm all for it for one reason: they could name the kits creekkit and wolfkit after their respective first victims :333

If they did, it wouldn't be intentional.

Pearose is a lesbian and Sporelake is gay, which is why the only reason they would get together is because for a while it's just been them in the Dark Forest, if not the occasional aggressive cat, meaning a lot of cold wind, muddy ground, coarse bedding, and dark skies. Hooking up means forgetting all that, even for a moment, and feeling good for one day again.

If this were to result in a pregnancy, they would both be VERY surprised, because neither knew that was even possible. They're supposed to be dead??

So would they have kits? 50/50, honestly.

Would they KEEP the kits is another question.

This all happened because it was just them, so the chances that they've met anyone friendly let alone anyone who became close enough to them that they are willing to take in the kits are slim, as are the chances that they've heard of the Daycare.

Sporelake is a practical tom. A kit's survival is unlikely, might as well do the merciful thing and kill them swiftly so they don't have to suffer.

I'm not confident in what Pearose would feel. One thought I have is that she would love them, but more like dolls than kits. She would like them for as long as they are cute, after that it depends.

Both would be fascinated too, and Sporelake could be convinced to keep the kit/s alive because hey, it would be a waste to kill a life born in death, wouldn't it? They should instead let them grow and see what happens.

Sporelake would also be the opposite of Pearose. He'd start out only caring of distant interest and end up actually loving them.
