UWC Pearson life is ...
hearing a variety of different languages every day
watching a deer run past the window during English class
a mile long line when they serve ice cream for dessert
bonfires and dance parties in the woods
having classes in the floating building down on the docks
energetic hand waving when you agree with someone
the common delight when the caf serves fish tacos for lunch
making TOK (theory of knowledge) jokes at every opportunity
studying late in the library
hearing there’s a bear alert on campus
forgetting you’re actually in Canada
a lot of tea and coffee
everlasting, amazing brunch on a Sunday morning
encountering deer while walking around campus at night
falling asleep during village meetings/”gatherings”
complaining about the many stair steps up to the Max Bell
watching the stars from the observatory
traveling to Victoria and realizing there’s a world outside Pearson
warm blankets and hot chocolate
losing socks to the washing machine
saying “good morning” and “how are you” to at least half of campus every day
the feeling of unity and happiness and curiosity
