Doxy: Find the cafeteria.
She's a little bit worse for wear at the moment. Her hair is an unwashed mess and her make up is smeared over parts of her face. Her dress is wrinkled from from spending the night in that awkward recliner. Doxy'd rather not people see her at the moment, but Bawd's hungry and so is she, so she makes the trip down a few floors to the hospital cafeteria.
This place is almost shabbier than Bawd's room. It's either before dinner, or after dinner, she can't quite remember the time, but this place is almost completely empty.
Dox heaves a sigh and moves through the food line, the clacking of her heels the only noise in the little cafeteria.
Dearest Friend.
Roy's a friend, sure. He's taken you out to eat, he's hidden a few bodies, and he has your penchant for gossip. So yeah. Definitely friends, you decide as you tap the end of your cigarette on the window and let out another mouthful of that obnoxious clove smoke.
He doesn't like it, you suppose he could eat a dick.
"So, Joni says new shipment down at the dock. Of course, I don't trust him farther than I can throw him so we're going to check it out."
You leer over at him and take another drag off that black cigarette.
He seems to have wings on his ankles since his peach of a girlfriends came back. Well. Wings on his ankles in only the way Roy would have. Which is wings made of lead.
Another mouthful of smoke. You've got a god awful feeling about this. Something isn't sitting right in you and its not because you ate mostly uncooked eggs for breakfast.

I am. I don’t know what happened but I take full responsibility for it.
I-- You don't know what happened?
...
Either there's some weird bullshit goin' on, or you're more of a fucking scumbag than I realized.
I'm more inclined t' believe the latter.
Look man, I feel like a heel. So I'm here to apologize for what I did. I'm sorry, Scout.
... Bit fuckin' late for that, isn't it? I can't tell if you're actually bein' serious.
peccantaintsobad replied to your post: Happy Mun day!

You've suspected Roy for some time, ever since Scofflaw gave you reason to believe he might have been lying about being at the train station.
But you can't pin him on that, you'd tried to reason Roy couldn't be that stupid. You needed something else.
And you found it.
In a fit of frustration you'd knocked over one of the file cabinets in the office, and you'd discovered one of the pocket-sized video cameras normally kept in the bottom drawer was missing. Demo and Brawler didn't have it, you were certain; Detective must have taken it with him.
Of course he wouldn't have brought it back.
You simply teleport into the police station, a trail of inky blackness following you, blocking out the security cameras and muffling the unlucky guard on duty. You only wish you could say this was the first time you'd broken into the fuzz's evidence lockers.
A small box, marked and labeled, contains all the evidence from Detective's case. It doesn't take you long to find it. Mixed in with the files and photos of the scene are the company's missing camera, and DD's deck of cards. You briefly thumb through them; one is missing. Then you pick up the camera.
You play back the footage. In it, clear as day, is Roy at the train station, speaking to the two gang members your boss was tracking.
Son of a bitch.
You tuck the camera and Deadeye's deck of cards into your pocket, and in seconds you're gone. You don't know where exactly you'll find Roy, but there's a particular diner that you know is a good place to start.
