Prunus mellifera -- the Pecha berry
Long used for antidotes to mild toxins, Pecha berries are a well beloved fruit amongst trainers and Pokemon alike. It is honey-sweet with soft skin. Many trainer-frequented routes are planted with Pecha trees and can be a boon for an unprepared trainer suffering from a Weedle sting.
This excerpt from Professor Poplar's notes was found beside the Oran berry page.
eat a tasty fruit!!!
this was a pokemon request from ko-fi! if you'd like to send in a request, shoot me a $5 donation on ko-fi with the name of a pokemon of your choice & i'll draw it!
Legends Z-A Details 03: Pokémon-Amie Café Drinks
Took some screenshots at the Pokémon-Amie Café. I was trying to see if any of the other cafés would give opinions or descriptions of their drinks like Griselle did, but no dice. It was interesting to seewhat the different drinks looked like though
Here's the first one, Oran Tea:
You can tell it's made with oran berries, because I can't think of any real life tea that would turn that kind of purplish-blue color. Even blueberry tea tends to be a more reddish-brown color. It's very pretty though. Makes me feel like I'm drinking a magic potion
...Which I guess I technically am, since oran berries are used to make Potions.
I wonder if it would turn your tongue blue?
Also of note, they give you the same pastry thing no matter what you order. Does anybody know what those are called? I can't think of the name for the life of me. Looks tasty though, makes me hungry
Here's the Pecha Tea:
I thought that this one would be a more pink-ish color, but considering pecha berries are based of of peaches I suppose it makes sense. It's probably packed full of antioxidants, considering pecha berries are using to cure poison
Shame they don't serve it iced. Sipping Pecha (Peach) iced tea in a fancy café on a sunny summer day in the Pokémon equivalent of France sounds like my idea of a good day
Next one's Cheri Tea:
That's about the color I originally expected the Pecha Tea to have. I'm not much for cherry-flavored things in real life, it reminds me too much of cough syrup. Cheri berries supposedly have a mildly spicy flavor to them instead of a cherry flavor, so maybe I'd actually like this one
Probably one of those mildly spicy teas that dilates your blood vessels a bit and relaxes your muscles, since that's how the cheri berries are used to cure Pokémon paralysis. Sounds like it would be a good drink for the winter
Last tea on the list is the Blended Tea:
I'm assuming it means it's a blend of the previous three, but I suppose it could be a blend of something else. The oran berries must have the strongest pigments of the three, considering it looks identical to the Oran Tea
Probably has a good mix of all of the flavors, with a slightly spicy aftertaste, considering oran berries contain all of the flavors except for sweet, and pecha berries have only sweet flavors. The spicy aftertaste would come from the cheri berries.
This would probably make for a very tasty health tea blend
They're having a diglett tea party/ref
Anyways HAI @tealmaskmybeloved and @axl-awesome I kinda drew our toxic chain hosts yapping about their respective loyal threes. Dokutaro is talking about the retainers, Pecharmine is talking about her new Loyal Three, and Malice Geeta is talking about her flowers.
Anyhoo i hope yall like this hehe
