It was slightly weird for him, seeing Mae again. Kieran wasn't sure if it was because he hadn't seen her in such a long time, or the context of why he was seeing her again. It probably added up as a mixture of the two. It was simple enough to say that she wasn't the girl he once played silly games with anymore. Though he was sure that he wasn't nearly the boy that she remembered anymore. His differences were without a doubt more vast than the height difference. For one, he wasn't even sure how he felt about the whole deal anymore. It was something he'd always pushed off into the future, a fate that he'd never have to run into. But here he was, standing and simply looking at the girl he'd known so many years ago. His fiance. He'd laugh at anyone who said romance was dead. He began to walk towards her, his stride confident, though he was sure that if he were to speak in that moment his words would betray him. He was confused despite his vast knowledge of the situation. Kieran was aware that he couldn't crack though, now with the audience around him. So he settled on giving Mae a smile once he stopped, looking at her for a moment before finally finding his voice. "It's been a while" he stated casually, forcing a hint of amusement to flow out with the words. She wasn't at all how he remembered her, though it was a bad thing for none of the reasons he expected. She was gorgeous, but instead of of focusing on that he focused on keeping his smile in place.
