Petty x Eddy Confession

Ok, before I get into this confession, let me say this:

IF YOU DON'T CONDONE THIS SHIPPING AND STILL SHIP PORETTY, THEN I RESPECT YOU! THIS IS MY OPINION AND YOU HAVE TO RESPECT IT! I WILL NOT TOLERATE ANY HATRED TOWARD MY PREFERRED SHIPPING!

Now that that's out of the way, we can start.

I've been watching Pororo for a while now and I've seen that the majority of fans have been shipping Pororo and Petty (Poretty). Well, after my own experience with the series, I personally ship Petty and Eddy (Peddy), and here's why:

Similar Personalities

First of all, I just wanted to point out that Petty and Eddy have similar personalities.

You see, Eddy is your typical tech savvy guy that can't swim, and Petty is your typical tomboyish athletic energetic girl that's terrible at cooking.

This shows that although they're both good at lots of things, even they have their flaws.

There are tropes about it.

Masculine Girl, Feminine Boy

Savvy Guy, Energetic Girl

The Show even Canonized it!

In the first episode of season 2 "Hello Friends", when Petty first meets the 4 friends, Eddy made a comment to Poby about how pretty she is, and even said it to her.

Petty even returned her feelings in the ending of the second episode "Petty's House", where she kissed him on the cheek, causing him to blush like a lovestruck idiot!

Also, in season 3, in the episode "Rody's Dream", in Eddy's dream, he asked Petty to dance with him.

Y'know, I could add a few more episode examples of this ship, bit I think I'll leave it here for now.

But Wait! What About Poretty?!

Well, I personally Pororo and Petty as a sibling-like relationship along with Crong. The reason for that is that they're both penguins.

I would rather ship Pororo with Loopy.

She even makes fanart about it.

Conclusion

So in conclusion, I must say that Petty and Eddy are more fitting for each other.

I might even make a fanfiction about them to emphasize my point.
