I didn’t grow up with the velvet tones of #johnpeel in my ears, but by the 1980s, in my teens, I knew the John Peel name really well. You could easily find a #peelsession recording in the import section of the many #localrecordshops in #lasvegas I have many! I distinctly remember the first time I heard #torococorot I walked into #BigB’srecords on Maryland Parkway. They were playing #theamateurview That day in #1999 I became a great admirer of all their music made together and with other collaborations. I’m playing this on a crispy cool, sunny Saturday and it sounds fantastic! The sessions were recorded between 1997-1999.
