Gravity
It’s when clients tell me incredible things that I understand the gravity of my job. The incredible can be good, but more often than not, it’s bad. My internal self screams. I just want to tell people about it because it’s so shocking and mind warping, but I can’t. I just want to be like, "Holy fuck, can you believe shit like this happens?!" But I can't. Then I come to feel the weight of the commitment and responsibility I voluntarily signed-up for. It’s like I’m the old man in “The Giver”. I am entrusted with people's deepest, darkest secrets. I experience a vast range of human emotions. It's a pretty intense thought, and I am completely humbled by it. I feel really privileged to do what I do.
