The reason we don't see any of the guards in the finale is because they either refused to fight Cassandra or refused to fight with Eugene as their Captain. Probably both. Maybe another part of it is they've now resorted to guarding Old Corona to protect what's left og the kingdom.

So I just remembered something about the TTS finale. When they're storming the castle, they can't get in before Ruddiger smashes the door because the front door is locked. And we can assume that it wasn't locked in Once a Handmaiden because everyone was literally right outside. Which means: 1. The castle of Corona actually has locks like a frigging convenience store

2. In her hostile takeover, Cassandra was OCD enough to actually consider locking the front door to be a priority.

And I honestly don't know which one is funnier.

The animation of the final proposal is beautiful, the framing is perfect, but...

By then, we knew that, to the creator, "Will you marry me?" really meant:

"Will you stop having adventures?"

"Will you stop having fun?"

"Will you never travel again?"

"Will you settle down & be shackled with a mundane & boring existence ever after?"

"Have you finally had enough 'freedom' already?"

...

So the whole dialogue just makes me sick. 😭
