Slow nights at the Court were a blessing after a long time without feeding. Now don't get her wrong, Susan liked her job, but in days like this it was better if she wasn't around too much people. In nights like this, the best Susan could do was to stay away. Or well, technically the best she could do was to find someone to feed off and get it over with for a couple of weeks before having to do it again, but she wasn't exactly well known for doing the best thing.

So there she was, smiling politely at a costumer only a couple minutes after leaving the stage, when she saw a familiar face not too far away. Susan hadn't talked to Peg since the night at the fair, partly because she had been busy with work, but mostly because they had seemed beaten up at the fair, and she couldn't help but feel guilty about it. If she was doing this to them, maybe it was best to jeep her distance, no matter how much she enjoyed Peg's presence.

Still, when Susan saw them at the Court, she couldn't help the urge to walk towards them and say hi. She excused herself and carefully made her way towards them.

"Are you enjoying yourself?" Susan asked with a smile once she reached their side, gently setting her hand on Peg's arm to grab their attention.
