Clint's laugh cut off instantly. His face drained of all color. "Peg-- Captain Carter. Miss? Ma'am? Should I call you ma'am?" He shook himself out of the ramble and refocused on the problem at hand. "I already passed this course. Like, a long time ago!" he insisted. Futz. He really shouldn't have been laughing at the new recruits on the obstacle course, because he did know how hard it was. But c'mon, the one guy fell flat on his face in the mud and it was hysterical. "It's like ten degrees out here, Peggy. Have some mercy!"
