15 and 18 for the wip game?

Thanks for the ask! Since I already answered #15 in the previous post, it has been replaced with #7. 

7. What are you most proud of? 

This is both an easy and difficult question because it’s not always so simple for me to see good things in my writing. I really think in this case though I’m proudest of being able to come back to this story. It was very difficult to imagine writing anything for the Star Wars fandom after the dumpster fire that was The Rise of Skywalker. Though technically this isn’t the first story in this fandom since then, it is the first one that is of any significant length, so I’m hoping that changing the story to something that makes more sense and not killing people for the sake of it will help me feel better about things. 

18. What’s easier: dialogue or description? 

For me, it all depends on the story I’m thinking of. Usually, the first thing that comes to mind is dialogue and it is rather easy to build a story around that, though sometimes I see a scene in my mind and struggle with the words. For the most part, though, I think dialogue is easier for me to write.

Langston Hughes, Oscar Wilde, and Stendhal for the classic author asks?

Thank you! I was hoping to get an ask from this. 

Langston Hughes: If you could be part of a literary era, which one? 

This is an easy one, definitely the Regency era and the time of Jane Austen’s novels. I just think that it would interesting to see and experience firsthand the different interactions between genders and classes of people, also it just seems simpler (though I know it likely wasn’t). 

Oscar Wilde: What books have you read more than once? 

There is a long list of books that I have read multiple times and would read many times more because I feel like I can get something new about it or just feel the comfort and nostalgia for the stories I love. Pride and Prejudice and Jane Eyre are probably the classic books I’ve read the most, Harry Potter is the fantasy series I’ve read the most, and I’ve also read The Diary of Anne Frank multiple times as well. 

Stendhal: Have you ever hid a book you were reading because you were embarrassed? 

No, I’ve never hidden a book I was reading because of embarrassment, though I do tend to keep some books and all fanfic I read to myself out of self-preservation usually due to the inclusion of LGBT friendly characters and storylines.

4,9,13 for fic writer asks?

I have 3 “relatable” posts that I think are either funny to me or bad and trashy and nobody will probably ever see them. I don’t write a lot of fics that haven’t been requested however

My shower is a great place to let my mind just drift and think of scenarios. A lot of my writing takes place on my bed and if I can’t think of a plot idea, I read a lot of prompts. And then I screenshot it
