I wanted to post something about the struggle of coming out (as asexual or somewhere on that spectrum) bc I could have sworn I'd told someone once and their response was basically "you just have to meet the right person and you'll want sex" but I couldn't easily find the conversation so now I don't want to say that story but I still have the difficulty of trying to tell anyone bc like no one gives a shit about it and whenever a guy has some weird interest in me (weird as in its super random and I'm in no headspace for random guys to try and hit on me) I have to really struggle through the whole conversation on sex and how I'm never interested in it and don't want it but I feel like I can't just go "oh I don't want sex bc im asexual" bc then they'll probably go "I bet I could make you enjoy it" like dude no that's not how sex works okay just leave me alone
