PeiFengQing Day 3 - Sun/Moon/Stars
No but imagine Pei Ming dragging Mu Qing and Feng Xin out for drinks and they get absolutely fucking shitfaced. The level of drunk where everything sounds like a really fun idea. They go bar hopping though half the town. Feng Xin gets banned from a bar for punching someone who touched Mu Qing’s hair and Pei Ming gets banned from another bar for trying to flirt free drinks out of the bartender.
Mu Qing seems to be the only sane one, until he spots a tattoo shop and screams “MATCHING TATTOO TIME” in the middle of the street, dragging both others to the parlor with him.
With an amazing combination of Feng Xin’s intimidating aura, Pei Ming’s flirting and drunk Mu Qing’s puppy eyed look, they manage to convince the tattoo artist to take them in right away without an appointment.
And since Mu Qing was the one to decide they were getting tattooed, he’s also the one to decide on the designs. And drunk Mu Qing delivers.
Pei Ming gets a line of stars down his spine.
Feng Xin gets a sun right in the middle of his chest.
Mu Qing gets a crescent moon on the nape of his neck.
When asked for his reasoning he simply declared he thought it’d be cute.
And for years to come he’d never admit to the truth behind the decision on both the designs and the placements.
He’d keep it hidden away in his mind. That when it comes to celestial beings, he knows he’s the moon of their relationship.
Because just like the moon without his Sun, he couldn’t shine as bright, and without his Stars, he’d be as lonely as they come.

PeiFengQing Week Day 4 - Star-Crossed Lovers
What if after Jun Wu was defeated, someone was forced to fill in as the emperor.
What if when Xie Lian kindly declined and Ling Wen was still not to be trusted, all eyes fell on the martial gods.
And what if it made so much sense for General Pei to assume the role of the emperor, since his dominion over the North, outranked both generals of the South, who had to divide the territory under their rule between them.
And what if that resulted into forcing one of the southern gods to take control of the north that lost it’s guard.
That would split the three martial gods into three different territories. One in the heavens, one in the North and one in the South. All of them too busy to leave their realms unattended. All of them too proud to ask for a break.
And what if that happened during a time that they started to get closer.
What if the night after the final fight, found them cuddled up on a pile next to a bonfire. Sharing warmth, comfort and peace.
What if the small beginnings of a bond that would shake the earth's core were never allowed to flourish.
All in the name of duty.
