MXTX Diaspora May is back for 2026, and sign-ups are open!

MXTX Diaspora May is an event in which Chinese diaspora creators come together to share the diverse aspects of Chinese culture, as well as connect with each other over lived experiences.

Through the promotion and creation of these fanworks, we hope to encourage thoughtful self-reflection throughout the broader fandom, especially with regard to embracing cultural humility and dismantling structures and behaviors that allow racism to flourish, both in fandom and in real life.

Support of MXTX Diaspora May will go a long way towards creating a more inclusive and open climate in our shared online spaces, especially for creators who rarely get their voices heard in the English-speaking side of fandom. We aim to uplift the unique voices and stories of our participants, and we encourage anyone who enjoys works from this event to share in the celebration of Chinese culture from creators of Chinese heritage.

Any creator with Chinese heritage may participate in MXTX Diaspora May. Event rules and work requirements may be found at the link below.

Note: We will not accept AI-generated works (works created by generative artificial intelligence models) as part of this event.

Prompts

Our prompts this year are the Four Natures in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Sub-prompts for the event will be posted separately.

After you sign up, you will receive a discord link to the event server after you complete the form. Please make sure to join the discord server to connect with fellow event participants and receive event announcements and updates. Sign-ups will run from March 7, 2026 to April 30, 2026.

Fenglian Week 2026 announcement

Happy Fenglian Friday!

It is with great pleasure that we are revealing the prompts for Fenglian Week 2026, as well as the date for the event.

For eight days, starting on the 21st day of February, and without adhering to a specific time zone, you may post your creations about this sweet pair, tagging the event. There will be an AO3 collection for that purpose as well.

Remember you are free to combine and interpret them as you wish. If you have any doubts, you can check the guidelines.

TGCF CLONE WEEK 2025

Hello everyone, and welcome to the blog for the TGCF Clone Week Event!

This event will be mainly hosted on Tumblr, but shared on Bluesky and Mastodon as well. At the end of it, I'd like to make sure it's all brought to a collection on AO3 for easy finding ❤️

The purpose of the event?

To celebrate any and all uses of clones in TGCF!

Whether it's Hua Cheng making a clone to keep Xie Lian company while his presence is required elsewhere, the adventures of one of He Xuan's clones at a post in Heaven, or even exploring deeper into Bai Wuxiang's activities while Jun Wu is making a public spectacle, there's a lot of potential!

Feb 8, 2025: I'll be reblogging recommendations of clone-themed fanworks while we build up the anticipation until official clone week! Feel free to tag this blog or directly send us some of your favourite works!

Note: We will not be reblogging anything from offsite without credit to the creator. No reposted art will be featured without direct permission from the artist.

May 11, 2025: clone week has officially started! Please submit your works to the AO3 connection and tag the Clone Week accounts wherever you personally share so we can boost them!

Please be patient if you don't see your work in the collection, and if it ends up pending for more than 12 hours, please feel free to contact me directly ❤️
