Every day I think about Viago and Lucanis having a THE WICKED WITCH OF THE EAST BRO type screaming match about the fastest way to someone's heart

if Tofana loves you, they will have the first bite and the first sip of any food you eat in their presence. They figure they're a whole lot more poison resistant than you. They do offer a bite of their food and a sip of their drink in return.

And yeah, they do get that from Viago. Who initially had no intention of offering to make up for the food he tested but what can you do when your charge is very annoying?

half asleep thinking about tofana's height (tall) and hawke's height (even taller), which then made me think about

Kisses on the cheek, Tofana x everyone

hawke: there is no chance of tofana getting on their tip-toes to kiss hawke. they'd sit down, cross one leg over the other and tap their dimple like so

neve: they meet halfway. neve pinches their chin after. The chin pinch soon takes over. she traces over their features with her eyes, and they go really quiet and kiss her fingertips. They're definitely that couple that goes "Whaaat? Whaat?" when they catch each other staring.

lucanis: tricked down to a kissable height with foods, knives, poisons, wines, shiny things, cioccolata calda, scrapes and bruises, undoing/doing up a button. lucanis contends he just likes showing them cool stuff.

neve and lucanis: 👉🏽(˵˘ ³˘˵)👈🏽

spite: spite on tippy toes. both of them cackle evilly about this.

davrin: pulled down to a kissable height by the collar. If they insist he come up to them, he says "Tofana, I'm not playing these games with y-" and dips them for a sneaky kiss that usually ends in a princess carry.

bellara: they aren't sure how this happened, but it's almost always them tippy toes-ing (it's because they do a lot of exploring together and bellara always goes first and thus usually has the higher ground). they test out scenes from her writing (and from books they're reading)

neve and bellara: 👉🏽(˵˘ ³˘˵)👈🏽

taash: excitable puppy behaviour. running jump into their arms, clinging on like a barnacle, peppering their face with kisses.

lace: bending and tippy-toesing, the leg lift thing, twirling, swooning, she's holding their face with both hands. When outside, sometimes she lowers the ground they're standing on. Between the lyrium scars and her powers, kissing still makes them a little woozy sometimes, and they have a tendency to...wander

emmrich: knuckle kisses or kisses to the palm of their hand that travel up their arm while they preen. they read tofana's books together. (a cocktail in a coupe glass, him on their lap.

solas: he looks at them with that face on his face (the smug 'I can work with that' face) in the full knowledge that they hate hate hate that he's taller. They look up at him with the pookiest of eyes. He smirks and doesn't otherwise move, but they feel the kiss happen; they grab their cheek in shock. He takes a few steps away, then flinches and grabs his own cheek. They amble past him with a raised eyebrow, and say "Can't be that hard." solas dreadwolf form: delightful. they make a big show of kissing him on every single eyelid.

one of my more ridiculous tofana headcanons is that when davrin and lucanis are arguing and they've had enough, they just pop their cape over their head and gently rest it against the nearest wall / crouch down where they stand to avert a meltdown

this was also a thing they did as a child when they were just DONE. their little shoulders hunched. their little arms crossed. a grumpy little voice yelling basta! from under the cape *

anyway time to dust off my slightly bedraggled whimsy

Davrin and Tofana and their knight/knight thing uuuuf. I think things start off a little uneasy. It's that they're a Crow, sure, but it's also... their personality lmao. And to be fair, he doesn't really have much reason to believe they'll be able to keep their promise regarding the Griffons. I think Tofana can sense that from him so they keep more of a polite wall up.

I think it helps they can more than hold their own, and he does respect that they have some sort of code (even if he isn't a huge fan). Tofana very seriously asks what'd happen if they ever got blighted (it's on their mind after Ashur) and Davrin does mention they could become a Warden. It's a grim prospect, it's the last thing they want. But Tofana makes him swear an oath that were that to ever happen, that he'll help them undergo the ritual (no matter what the First Warden says) because they need to see this through.

They have a duty, and they made a promise.

They fall into friendship really easily after that.

a lot of tofana's 'goodness' is an unplanned for impulse that comes from the same place that makes them want to tip your glass up when you're mid sip.

so it's less that they're brimming with kindness and trying to hide it and more they lost it for a second and kinded all over the show

can i share my impeccable logic with you? my sibling and i share a bday, and they live in a diff time zone to me. therefore my birthday rages on until theirs is over.

this isn't about overly loving my bday or anything it's more that they can't be Having Birthday without me
