“It’s just this Charity Ball tonight that Chanel is hosting. It’s going to be totally lame or whatever...
Do you want to be my date?”
Janis seemed interested in her, and honestly, Chanel #Ⅲ wouldn’t mind spending more time with the pierced girl. She was an up-and-coming artist, and that was pretty cool. Besides, she was cute. Not like, SUPER cute, but like a chill-cute. #Ⅲ wasn’t exactly willing to try and test the waters with another relationship, but she sure as hell wasn’t about to test the waters of being dateless to a huge event either.

“Honestly, I’m not completely sure of exact passions.” It was the lie she always used in regards to questions like this, as if saying it again and again would make it true. Because she knew that somewhere deep inside of her she wanted to spend the rest of her life on a stage, either as a musician or an actress. But she also knew the logistics of that-the job wasn’t the most secure and she’d never be able to face her mother or cousin if she pursued that. After all, her mother made sure to voice that and how much of a waste it’d be for Addy to pursue theatre when she was older, that Addy could only really be respected in a more intellect-based field, and how those fields were the only ones Addy could be useful in.
“I just want to do something important to somebody. I don’t want to be at some cubicle or something. Maybe like...bioengineering. Or something to do with space. I like space a lot, so...”
“...What I WANNA SAVE I will try. I KNOW who I truly am. I truly DO have a chance.” Some days were DARKER than others, but with dark comes light. FORTUNATELY, today was LIGHT for Veronica. “Tomorrow, I’ll switch the beat to AVOID yesterday’s dance.”
