That works.
So, how would the Star Eyes trio react to the revelation that Godslayer was technically the Archon of Khaenri'ah, with their focus being Autonomy? Letting Khaenri'ah grow in a way not even freedom could truly provide? And then learning the fall of Khaenri'ah happened thanks to the Creator being bored and seeking to punish Godslayer not demanding worship from Khaenri'ah by forcing them to watch it's destruction? Creator basically told Godslayer "You don't want them to worship you, you don't even let them know your presence. So you should be totally fine with them being destroyed." And forced them to watch it's fall without being able to do anything. The Star Eyes trio might have completely different reactions, but would any of them give their pledge of loyalty then and there?
Oh, they're mightily pissed off. Against The Creator, I mean to say.
All three knew the Godslayer treated the Kingdom of Khaenri'ah as a protector, rather than a deity. For them to turn their blade on The Creator and slay them, it shows how far they're willing to go to protect against The Divine.
All three saw the end of their homeland, and how it was destroyed because of The Godslayer. And yet, they cannot blame them, for a God wanting to stay hidden may have made it moreso clear that they're different from the other gods.
So, yeah; I think that they would, honestly.
