Due to mild late rains, lots of spring flowers all at once in my garden.
Arcade feature #1: Beatrix Potter
Mr. McGregor was quite sure that Peter was somewhere in the tool-shed, perhaps hidden underneath a flower-pot. He began to turn them over carefully, looking under each.
Presently Peter sneezed—'Kertyschoo!' Mr. McGregor was after him in no time.
And tried to put his foot upon Peter, who jumped out of a window, upsetting three plants. The window was too small for Mr. McGregor, and he was tired of running after Peter. He went back to his work.

Sztuczne bociany w bocianim kwieciu - nazwa pelargonii pochodzi od greckiego πελαργός (pelārgós), oznaczającego bociana, którego głowę przypominają nasiona pelargonii.

Toy storks in the stork blossom - Pelargonium's name comes from the Greek πελαργός (pelārgós), meaning "stork", because of the plant's seeds resembling stork heads.
So I've recently come into possession of some pelargoniums. They're neat, but I just don't get the same enjoyment out of them as I do with euphorbs, cacti, orchids, and caudiciforms.
Does anyone here dig them? Want to trade?
I have the following species:
Pelargonium carnosum
Pelargonium otida
Pelargonium fructicosum
Pelargonium rotundifolia
Pelargonium appendiculata
I'm looking for philodendrons, and other aroids, or any tropical houseplants with interesting growth habit or foliage.
Fascinatingly, I somehow don't have a peace lily, so even that pedestrian of an aroid would be of interest.
Let me know - I'm in the Bay area, but can also mail inside the US.
Pelargonium flowers!
Just some spring garden photos, foxgloves, first artichokes, kniphofias, pelargoniums. some succulents...
