Oh my god...could this possibly be a NEW GUITAR DAY??
YES! But not for me LOL.
I just picked up this used 2019 #Gibson#LesPaul Special from @theguitarshopca for my buddy @tomgibson3783. Tom couldn't resist buying it because it was one hell of a good deal, and I picked it up for him because I live about 1 hour closer to the shop that he does!
It's a refin in pelham blue - not sure what the original colour was, but this may be the first time I have EVER had a blue guitar in the house! It also sports an upgraded set of @lollarpickupsuk P90s.
First impression is that it sounds better than my Custom Shop TV Special (no doubt thanks to the pickups), with a slightly thinner, more comfortable neck than the Custom Shop model. Second impression is that it needs a fresh set of heavier strings and some setup to bring the action down to a more comfortable height for me (and the owner too, I guess lol). Looks like I have a project for this weekend!
