So before starting TSHD I had seen two gifs, one with Hikaru and Yoshiki, and one with Asako and Yuki.

So... I thought they were the same people. I thought Hikaru and Yoshiki died and turned into Asako and Yuki, and that the whole show revolved around them finding their way back to their own bodies

I now know that is not the case 😭
